ABOUT GAVIN MCINNES
Born in England in 1970 to Scottish parents, Gavin McInnes shot to fame in the early nineties as a co-founder of VICE Magazine. He’s known as the “Godfather of Hipsterdom” and has been called “One of hipsterdom’s primary architects”. During his time at VICE, he was known for his raucous and irreverent take on the world and controversial, no-holds-barred opinions.
After leaving VICE in 2013, McInnes became well-known for his political commentary. He was a frequent guest on Fox News and TheBlaze, a former contributor to Canadian right-wing media show Rebel Media. He currently hosts his own political show Get Off My Lawn. Funny as he is controversial, he’s famous for his use of humourand satire to lampoon the excesses of political correctness.
His brash, comedic style of commentary has earned him millions of fans across the world and seen him launch his own men’s rights group, The Proud Boys. This tour will be the first time McInnes has been in Australia, where he plans to bring his unique blend of comedy and politics to the stage for an unforgettable evening.
